The recipe below presents a pomegranate green smoothie. Pomegranate is a fruit full of amazing health benefits. It’s a powerful antioxidant full of components that fight cancer, lower cholesterol and blood pressure. Furthermore, this fruit may also have benefits to protect against depression and osteoporosis.

Ingredients
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup frozen organic strawberries
  • ½ cup coconut water
  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • ½ cup crushed ice
  • ½ cup pomegranate arils
Instructions
  1. In the smaller Ninja blender cup combine 1 banana, ½ cup of frozen organic strawberries and ½ cup of coconut water and pulse using the smart IQ blender button.
  2. In the larger Ninja blender cup combine the ½ banana, 1 cup chopped kale, ½ cup crushed ice and ½ cup of pomegranate arils and pulse using the smart IQ blender button.
  3. Pour the strawberry smoothie portion and top with the green smoothie portion.
  4. Top with pomegranate arils.
