 Thick And Creamy Chocolate Milkshake Healthy Enough For Breakfast.

Chocolate milkshake is one of my favorite milkshake and I guess many people love it as well; the only thing that prevents many to have it on a regular basis is that, the regular milkshake is packed with fat, sugar and full of calories.
Below is a healthier version of chocolate milkshake. This recipe uses unsweetened cocoa powder, plain nonfat Greek yogurt, low calories sweetener such as stevia, truvia etc… and any milk other than the ordinary one.

This thick and creamy chocolate smoothie tastes like a slightly healthier version of a milkshake! The recipe is easily doubled or tripled to serve more.
Yields: 1 smoothie
  • ¾ c (180g) plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • ½ c (120mL) unsweetened cashew or vanilla almond milk
  • 2 tbsp (10g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp (13g) Truvia (or other sweetener, to taste)
  • 1 c (130g) ice cubes
  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender in the order listed, and pulse until thick and creamy. Serve immediately.

Notes: Any milk and sweetener may be used.

To help prevent the smoothie from separating, add ⅛ teaspoon of xanthan gum.
